Series 2 Hatsune Miku backpack hangers arrive in sealed blind bags, each holding one surprise figure about 2.1 inches tall. Six chibi-style designs wait inside the assortment, and not even the shopper knows which one is coming.

  • Each blind bag contains a single 2.1-inch figure clip, and which of the six designs you receive is random.
  • A sturdy ring clip fastens the charm to backpacks, purses, belt loops or zippers so Miku goes everywhere.
  • Rare chases exist: a 24k gold-plated figure at around 1 in 54 and a glow-in-the-dark one near 1 in 18.
  • Chibi artwork shows Miku with her teal twin-tails in several different signature looks across the Series 2 set.

On the shelf with it

This hanger is aimed at Vocaloid and J-pop fans who like to wear their fandom. The light, compact size means it hangs on a bag without adding bulk, and the surprise packaging works for birthdays, party favors and stocking stuffers for ages 3 and up. Keep the clip in mind when planning displays: a cluster of hangers on a pegboard or a bag strap looks great.

On the collector's shelf the draw is trading. Six designs plus two rare variants guarantee some duplicates, so swapping with friends is part of finishing the Series 2 set. Keep the best pull clipped on your bag and the extras on the trade pile. If you want rare pulls, buy a few bags and see whether the gold-plated or glowing figure appears in your batch.

Best Birthday Present for a Teen Friend

I guess it helps that this character is my daughter's friends favorite character. My daughter's friend loved them. Apparently my daughter is the best friend who knows what a girl wants! These are very cute. The right size for a backpack dongle or Keychain. They looked like they were a good quality & considering how the specific character got here fast, it was a great value. Wish I could comment on the durability, but they are in a different house now :D
